GR footpaths

 The leisure center "Puerto de la Ragua" 15 minutes from Cottage and 2000 meters altitude, offers the possibility to perform the following activities: NORDIC SKIING: a ski area with 40 km; TOBOGGANING; NETWORK HIKING: marked according to established standards, apart from those mentioned above, include: to the "Chullo", the "Hornillo", the "Mirador de la Alpujarra", the "Mirador de Aldeire" and "Laguna Seca". MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL NETWORK: Mountain biking, an extensive network of forest tracks that rise from "Puerto de la Ragua" and that makes the Sierra Nevada a haven for mountain biking. The "Pilar de las Yeguas" is the starting point ROUTE 6, ROUTE 7 ROUTE 8 and ROUTE 9 to the Nevada´s MTB Centre.

Multi-sports La Ragua

MTB Nevada Center is a network of nine hikes of varying difficulty (this center is the top spanish center by Ranking 2.0 Centros BTT 2014). Self- guided trails can be done with road books and / or GPS tracks, you can download from the right icon (GPX) or by clicking on the link to use Google Earth. The starting points for routes 1-5 and visitor center is located at the entrance of the village of Mairena, 4 km from Cottage Cortijo Buena Vista. These routes are not physically marked to avoid any impact on the environment.

MTB Nevada Center

The large number (45) and the relative proximity of the villages in Alpujarrras country, are almost all year round there is a spanish fiesta and / or verbena go. Alone in the municipality of Nevada are : • January 6 : The Procession of Manchos at Laroles. Esparto torchlight procession. • January 17 - 2O : Moros y Cristianos at Laroles (holding the nearest 20th weekend) . • April 25: San Marcos, the Spring Festival in the Alpujarras . - At Laroles and Mairena. • June 23 : Night of San Juan.
